Thomson ST585 v7 - 802.11g Wireless Gateway Router with 4 Ethernet Ports

A waste of plastic.
In fear of going off on a rant I'll keep this short, this router has to be THE most useless waste of time. It drops off every 5-10 minutes, wireless never works, it over heats, range is very weak, from one human to another please dont buy this.
awful
I'm a full-time programmer and technology zealot, and I can assure you this is a terrible piece of kit.

If all you want is something very simple to connect to the internet, this would be a mistake. It runs incredibly hot, an indication that it is drawing far too much power.

This product also has several annoying flaws. It randomly forgets settings. In the last month I've had to re-setup my application port forwarding about 10 times just because this router is incapable of remembering settings.

Even when it does work, the interface seems to decide to pause for a whole minute after every few minutes of use, which is very frustrating when all you're doing is trying to get it to remember to do something you've already told it to do ten times.

AVOID.
