Dreadful
I really regret buying this junk - connection speed was poor from day one and gradually got worse with the connection dropping out every hour or so. Looking at the other reviews here it is clearly a substandard product
You will need that lifetime warranty
It was fine for a while, but then the wireless started to disconnect about once a day. This increased to the point where it was doing it every couple of hours. Having to go to the router to unplug it then plug it in again makes this product pointless, I might as well just use a cable.
I just hope when I get this replaced under the lifetime warranty, they don't replace it with the same model.
OK at first...but then breaks
When I first got this router it worked perfectly, but about a week later it started losing internet connection. I'd have to keep unplugging the power and plugging it back in to get it going again. This became very annoying as it stayed connected for smaller and smaller amounts of time until there was no point in having it on anymore! It got red hot very quickly even though I suspended it above the desk surface and kept it next to a cool wall.
I took it back to the shop and got a replacement, which was fine - for 4 months. Then the same thing started happening again. I contacted the manufacturer online and they sent me a new one for free. This one I have had since July (5 months) - third time lucky - NOT! It has just now started breaking again, which is why I am online searching for a new one.
I have gone through 3 of these routers over a period of about 10 months. In fact I'm surprised it gave me enough time to write this review.
