Apple Airport Extreme 802.11n 5th Generation

convient
this has made it so much easier for me to do everything including printing wirelessly from my printer. love how you can setup a guest wifi and not have to worry about the guest being able to access any other computer, ipad etc from the network. made things so much simpler for me.
Brought to replace my BT Home Hub
I upgraded to BT ifinity about a year ago and although quick would sometimes time out for what ever reason (especially when two computers were accessing at the same time). Looking through previous reviews and doing some research online I decided to go ahead and replace the home hub with the aiport extreme.

It works a treat, easy to install although word of caustion for other BT customers the username and password you need arent the same as whats on your hub key so call BT to find out. (mine was "firstname.lastname@btinterent.com" with lowercase "bt" as the password, although for some leaving the password blank works)

I have a iMac and a Dell XPS along with a a couple of iphones and an ipad which now connect without an issue.

The average connection speed has increased from 20 mps to 37 and no time outs!

Now to add an external hard drive for backups.
Excellent bit of kit!
Since connecting to the internet via the Apple Airport Extreme and a Draytek Vigor modem, I have not once lost the connection, whereas previously I was having to reboot my ASUS router two or three times a day. Pricey but well worth it.
