NEWLink 7dBi Omni Directional Reverse SMA Antenna (N11510)

Cheap, but it works...
With some wireless antennas costing as much as four times as much as this one I wondered whether its low price betrayed reduced quality and functionality, but as soon as it was screwed onto our upstairs desktop PC our own network and two other local networks made themselves known.

With a signal from the PC downstairs that is consistent and never listed as less than excellent in Windows, whatever the conditions, I'm pleased that I didn't pay more.
Bargain - cheap solution to correct marginal performance
The location of my office computer was such that it was at the very edge of range for my Sky Netgear router's signal - sometimes it worked, sometimes it dropped out. I had tried basic repositioning of router and resetting the channel it broadcast on to see if I could get a stronger signal, but no avail. I ordered this rather than the more expensive and apparently complicated option of getting an additional router - I reckoned I only needed to add an extra 10ft to my range. The product came within 1 working day of ordering, screwed into the existing antenna port within 5 seconds and hey presto, I have a reliable connection.
Good value signal booster
Easy to unscrew and remove standard antenna that came with my Netgear DG834G wirelsss modem/router and replace with this product, it does seem to have improved the signal around the house so in that respect is good value for money.
