Belkin High Speed Wireless G+ Router

Just works.
My only regret so far (after using the router for a month) is I didn't buy it sooner. "Installation" was as hard as plugging it in and installing the software off the included CD. I have a Dell PC laptop connected to it with a wireless card, a Mac iBook connected to it via an ethernet cable, and even a RedHat Linux system connected via ethernet cable too. To my amazement every system just works with this little wonder, without a hitch. Now it sits on the shelf and does what it's supposed to: just works.
The first thing I've ever had to send back to Amazon
I have to agree with P. Willis' earlier review. This is a shoddy product - despite a supposedly easy setup process, after at least two hours of pissing about, I couldn't for the life of me get the damn thing to detect a wireless signal of any sort.

Unfortunately, I'm going to go and get some bubble wrap later, and return the product (not to mention the two Belkin USB adaptors I also bought) to Amazon. I'll either try a Netgear router, or simply not bother at all.

Clearly, most people have no problem with this product, but for those of us who can't seem to get it to work, it's somewhat annoying - particularly as the much-vaunted 'free' Belkin support line has been moved to an 0845 number.

I shan't bother with Belkin again.
excellent device, complex setup
I am very happy with this device. Works well with Telewest/Blueyonder broadband service without any problems.

Setup is far from straightforward. Probably because of special requirements relating to Blueyonder, the quick setup CD is completely useless and I needed to consult the 800 technical advice number. Once connected to that number, which took a reasonable amount of waiting, they were able to guide me through a reasonably painless process of getting the installation done. However, I stayed on the phone with them for about 20 minutes and this is with me following every instruction to the letter very quickly without any hitch in the middle of the process. This probably wiped a considerable amount of the profit they gained from the sale of this unit to me, and wipes a considerable amount of the profit for them in general with regard to all other Blueyonder users.

The technical issue involved is basically that the router needs to clone the mac address of the computer which...
